Our Rockin' Progress...

Most everyone has finished their basic programming training, we have gone on two field trips already, and now the team is just looking for a new name and cheer...

Demo Day at Schiele Museum - July 14, 2012

Programming Practice

We had a blast at the Schiele Museum demonstration! We demonstrated the robot on last year's board to everyone and explained FLL to anyone who asked. Upstairs the CLASH of the Bots was going on. I think we all benefited from this experience and we all had fun.

A vist to the Brian Center

On Thursday, July 12, our team visited the Brian Center, which is a health and retirement center specializing in skilled nursing and long term care. There we met Mr. B Hatton. He is the administrator for the Brian Center. He answered a lot of our questions and gave us a tour of the facility. We were able to see some of the equipment they use and meet some of the patients. Our team gained a ton of useful information from our visit.
